Private events at Arugula make use of the entire bistro.
Exclusively yours for either lunch, brunch, dinner, or cocktail events any day of the week.
Seated Events: We can accommodate up to 44 guests. We can seat 34, along with a 10-seat bar that is just as comfortable for a seated event with menu and beverage options.
Cocktail Parties: We can accommodate up to 50 guests for a standing cocktail reception with hors d’oeuvres and an open bar.

A Mediterranean Bistro in West Hartford, CT
opened in 1996, arugula bistro has been serving the bustling center of west hartford for over twenty-five years. In 1996 chef/owner christiane gehami and chef/partner michael kask opened a tiny 8 seat restaurant that expanded greatly only 2 years later. in January of 2021, in the midst of the pandemic, we decided to fix our kitchen floors...this turned into a full renovation! In may we reopened with the same comfortable, cozy, vibe...new look, and the addition of a 9-seat wooden bar that fits gloriously in our dining room...the menu celebrates mediterranean cuisine and because of michael's love for asian and Indian food, he has introduced several Asian and Indian inspired dishes that round out our menu. everything is still prepared in-house, including desserts. we believe in bringing friends and family together over glorious food, easy-drinking wines, a comfortable dining experience, and a lot of love.
